I started my cannabis activism with the Maryland NORML organization. In my 4 years there I  served as Communications Director and Deputy Director.  I tripled the organizations social media outreach, and testified in front of the Maryland General Assembly. In 2015 Maryland NORML won NORML chapter of the year. After leaving Maryland NORML, I was selected as the Communications Chair for the Minority Cannabis Business Association (MCBA). Following my time with the MCBA, I worked as the National Cannabis Festival (NCF) Advocacy Committee Co-Chair.
